Our rankings start with a weighted scoring system that considers both the average score and number of votes. This prevents artwork with a single high score from dominating the top spots.
Formula: Weighted Score = (Average Score × Vote Count) ÷ (Vote Count + 3)
This means artwork needs at least 3 votes to reach their full potential ranking.
Trending: the Trending view starts from that weighted score, then emphasizes recent score activity, recent vote volume, and newer upload dates. Momentum fades quickly in the first several hours, then more gradually as artwork ages, so the default list can rotate while still rewarding strong ratings.
